Julie O'Hora is a writer and director whose first feature was produced by the guys who made AMERICAN PIE, and was internationally distributed by Sony Pictures.

Sliding fluidly between comedy and drama, Julie's work is sexy, fun, and wish-fulfillmenty, but still weighty and honest. She’s known for her authenticity, sharp dialogue, and ability to address difficult subjects in a way that feels lighthearted and bright without sacrificing truth.

In 2019, Julie’s screenplay, EXTREME CLOSE-UP was workshopped at the Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman supported Writers Lab. That project is a sexy, funny, bittersweet romantic drama based on Julie’s own IP, and intended to be her feature directorial debut.

To date, Julie has directed four short films, two of which she also wrote and produced.
